Exhibition-Little Cocoons for the South Bronx
April 29-May 1, 2011, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, Lower Gallery.

Little Cocoons for the South Bronx is an installment of Cocoon, my ongoing worldwide public sculpture project. 150 students from Lou Gehrig/IS 151 participated–collecting materials found on the ground at the nearby Jackson and Melrose Projects, creating miniature cocoons and recording their wishes for display as a multi-media sound installation. Eric Etheridge’s portraits of the students will also be on view.
