TECHNICAL SPECS
SPACE REQUIREMENTS
- Open and unobstructed space a minimum of 4.5m wide by 3.5m deep by 5m high.
- Black masking for wings and background.
- The floor should be painted black, smooth with no holes or hardware.
- Uninterrupted access to theater for load-in, set up, technical rehearsal.
- Secure storage for set, props and costumes.
- Company will bring set, which includes canvas backdrop and ground cloth, and platform. Backdrop will need to be rigged from ceiling or grid.
LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS
- All lighting is designed to be set up on the floor to facilitate ease of installation and strike. Four (4) to eight (8) circuits (20A/110V) are needed depending on venue. Transformers are necessary outside the USA. Company will be bringing all lighting units.
SOUND REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) auto-cue CD players (no Walkmans, portables or boom boxes)
- One (1) stereo mixing console 8 channel input with EQ
- Minimum of two (2) full-range speakers capable of handling 250 W/8 OHMS each hung stage left and right as per ground plan
- Two (2) sub-woofers with matching power amp
- Stereo power amps to power all speakers, minimum 250 W per side
- Headsets Requirements: Four (4) to five (5) CLEAR COM, TELEX dual channel access or comparable quality headset communications system with like specifications for stage manager, sound, lights, onstage assistant and backstage. If stage manager and light operator are same only need four headsets.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Dressing Area: Uninterrupted access to two (2) securable, carpeted, heated and air-conditioned private dressing areas each with minimum three (3) chairs and table with mirror, a bathroom with toilet and hot and cold running water (or be adjacent to one) at least three (3) hours before the scheduled performance. Dressing area must be in the same building as the performance with access to backstage.
IN-HOUSE CREW REQUIREMENTS (Please see technical rehearsal
schedule below)
- One (1) house technician to interface with the Company to set up power distribution and sound.
TECHNICAL REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
- Technical rehearsal schedules will be drafted and agreed upon by COMPANY technical staff and PRESENTER, PRESENTER'S technical director and production manager 2 (two) weeks in advance of arrival and will require a minimum of six (6) hours each day and a maximum of ten (10) hours each day with regularly scheduled breaks for lunch and dinner as appropriate.
